Groceries
There is no bakery available in the village. The nearest bakery is in Burg Reuland (about 5 min by car), which is open every day from 8.00 to 16.00 hrs, except Wednesdays.
We also offer bread service. You can order fresh bread ever day (also Sun and holidays!). The baker comes by appointment. Information and order lists are available on-site.

The nearest shops are in St. Vith or just across the border in Luxembourg.

There are also big supermarkets like Aldi, Lidl and Delhaize in St. Vith. These are located at the entrance of the city. St Vith has a nice shopping center with nice restaurants and lunchrooms (konditorei).

HIKE, BIKE AND OTHER OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

The area is ideal for making beautiful walks, hike, bicycle/mountainbike trips and all kinds of other outdoor activities. Even when the weather is not that nice there are plenty of other alternatives. On-site we offer a wide range of brochures and information leaflets. Below a small selection:

Hiking and biking:
Hiking, biking and mountain bike trails run right next to our front door. These routes can be obtained from the Tourist Office in Burg Reuland. Here you can also rent mountain bikes and E-bikes. On-site we offer (short) hiking routes.

The Ourtalroute, Baraque Fraiture and the Baraque Michel are also well-known for nice hikes. For a beautiful long bike ride without too many rises and descents, the award-winning Vennbahnroute is recommended.
